Frederick Conrad is a Research Professor in the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan and in the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) at the University of Maryland. He is the director of the graduate programs at Michigan (MPSM) and Maryland (JPSM). He received a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Chicago. His current research includes adaptive user interfaces in web surveys, interviewer-respondent interaction, and data collection with mobile, multimodal devices
