The BSOS Commencement Ceremony for August 2022, Winter 2022, Spring 2023 graduates will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Xfinity Center, where each student will be individually recognized on stage. No tickets are needed.
The University of Maryland will hold its campus wide Spring 2023 Commencement on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 7 p.m. for Winter 2022 and Spring 2023 graduates at SECU Stadium. Each graduate will receive six (6) guest tickets and one (1) personal ticket for themselves. These will be emailed to the email address on file in the TESTUDO system on April 17, 2023. Graduates, please make sure you have an up-to-date email address in TESTUDO, and please check it regularly.
BSOS Department Ceremonies
In addition to the campus-wide in-person ceremony, BSOS and the other colleges and schools will hold in-person ceremonies. BSOS department ceremonies for August 2022, Winter 2022, Spring 2023 graduates will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

REGALIA

The University Book Center is the official supplier of commencement regalia for the university, with Oak Hall as the official provider. Cap and gown packages can be purchased by clicking here or at The University Book Center, located in the Stamp Student Union.

DISABILITY SERVICES
The University of Maryland is glad to assist with special services needed for commencement. Outside of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, there will be several volunteers to assist you in proper parking. Please park in the Stadium Drive Garage adjacent to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. No parking pass is required to enter or park in the garage. Disability parking is located on the first floor of the Stadium Drive Garage. This is also the preferred level to park for those who have difficulty walking. From the garage, proceed to main entrance of Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, which is directly across from the garage.
Once inside the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, staff will direct wheelchair guests to their seating area on the first level of Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. There will be chairs for one guest to accompany the guest in the wheelchair. Other guests in the party may be seated directly adjacent to the wheelchair seating. There will be plenty of signage and volunteers to direct you to proper seating with a view of your graduate.
If you have difficulty walking long distances, you may wish to make arrangements to bring your own wheelchair for the day. The University cannot provide wheelchairs.
